First volume kicks off the compilation with tracks that were popular in the Pittsburgh area then follow up volumes shift the focus to local area artists. Volume 1 counts with nice ballads by The Vows, The Romancers, The Empires, Jimmie & Wayne, The Royal Jesters and Donald Jenkins . The rest of the volumes have nice ballads by artist such as The Contrails, The Del-Vikings, The Buckeyes, The Chaps, The Stereos, The Electrons, The La-Rells, The El Venos, The Exciting Avantis, The Rhythm Rascals, The Marcels, The Twilighters, The Del Pris, Chuck Corby & The Entrees, George Goodman & His Headliners, The Sharades, The Enchantments, Johnny & Jack, Walt, Percy & The Tracers and Harold & The Casuals. As with other out of print CD's on the Itzy label these are getting a bit expense. Solid sound quality. If you don't mind lots of pop tracks this will be a good addition to your Doo Wop library.
