A decent starter set for those barely feeling the oldies vibe. If you have or plan to get the East Side Story collection then you might want to think twice about this one as there are a fare share of tracks repeated between the two. However, I would recommend that you do pick up volume 9 as it contains one of the cleaner recordings of Sly, Slick & Wicked's cover version of "Confessing A Feeling".
