This compilation has some nice ballads but overall it has more of a mainstream pop sound. Highlights include "My Love Is A Charm" by The Shirelles, "Just You" by Diane And The Darlettes, "Can't We Just Be Friends" by Little Cheryl And Group, "Everything" by Arlene Smith, "The Beating Of My Heart" by The Petites, "Please Ring My Phone" by The Starlettes, "Moonlight" by the Admirations, "Please Don't Rush Me" by The Baby Dolls, "Oh Lover, Hear My Plea!" by Arleeman Wadoo and "Where Are They" by The De Vaurs. If you were to get one only go with volume 4 as it has the best ballads. Sound quality varies.

Superb balled in "My Wishes" by Little Chico And The Corondolays stands high above the rest. Other good tracks include "Wish That You Were Here" by The Casual Crescendos and "I Wish" by Mike And The Utopias. Leave this one for the serious Doo Wops fans.

Early R&B sounds out of the Bronx featuring the beautiful voice of Lillian Leach. This will take a hardcore fan of the genre to truly appreciate. Highlights include "I Still Care", "Smoke From Your Cigarette", "My Darling" and "So Strange". Very good sound quality.
