70's soul by the Tavares brothers. For me "Check It Out" stands well above any other ballad on this collection. It would have been great if their early tracks "Nothing But Promises" and "I Know The Inside Story" recorded as Chubby & The Turnpikes for this same label in the late 60's would have been included.
